Lahore has lost more than 50% of its tree cover due to rapid urbanization. The resulting pollution and smog require us to take urgent steps to protect and replenish our environment.

WBM Foundation has stood up to this responsibility by planting a 200-tree plantation campaign in Aabpara Housing Society on 13^th October 2021. The campaign was successfully completed with the cooperative staff of the Aabpara Society and premises of Graveyard in the presence of Fazila Ishfaq and Aiman Sohail – Environmentalist WBM Foundation.

WBM Foundation planted 200 native trees to supply fresh oxygen and habitat to precious flora and fauna where it is desperately needed. WBM Foundation campaign this year included native tree plantations along, various housing society parks and schools.

WBM Foundation pledged to plant more trees in the coming year and urged others to do so as well so that we ensure a clean and green Pakistan for our future generations.
