International Day for the preservation of the Ozone layer is celebrated on 16^th September 2022 to raise awareness regarding the restoration of the ozone layer which is depleting due to the harmful impact of anthropogenic activities. Discourage the activities that harm the ozone layer. Depletion of ozone layer causing entrance of ultraviolet radiations reaching to the earth. These radiations are harmful to the eyes and skin and cause diseases such as skin burns etc.
